Quality Engineer – Automotive

Job Title: Quality Engineer – Automotive Manufacturing

We're looking for a Quality Engineer who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about continuous improvement and quality systems. This full-time, day shift position is based at our Guelph location and plays a vital role in driving our quality assurance standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in APQP processes for new and revised components
  • Prepare and submit PPAPs in customer-specific formats
  • Analyze CMM reports and support root cause analysis
  • Evaluate test results for compliance and report to the APQP team
  • Coordinate start-up and containment quality plans
  • Maintain quality documentation and ensure procedural compliance
  • Develop training programs for quality and production teams
  • Guide operators through part-specific quality control processes
  • Manage corrective action systems for both internal and external quality issues
  • Foster strong relationships with customers and resolve quality concerns
  • Analyze SPC data and recommend corrective actions


What You Bring to the Table

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Quality Management (TS16949/QS9000/ISO preferred)
  • Background in metal stamping, roll & wire forming, welding, and assembly
  • Strong knowledge of APQP, in-process audits, 8D methodology, and process improvements
  • Hands-on experience in an automotive supplier environment
  • Proven leadership in implementing and maintaining quality systems
  • Confident problem-solver with solid communication and team leadership skills
  • Familiar with a wide range of measuring equipment
  • Ability to travel when needed
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional quality and customer satisfaction
