In this role, you’ll perform a variety of essential warehouse duties including product selection, replenishment, receiving, and general maintenance. Key Responsibilities
Product Replenishment & Movement
- Refill pick-slots and bulk storage areas
- Rotate stock to prevent spoilage, especially in cooler/freezer zones
- Accurately track and move inventory
- Ensure all items are placed in designated areas
Order Selection
- Select items for orders using proper sequence and stacking techniques
- Load products correctly on company trailers (Freezer, Cooler, and Dry selections)
- Maintain load quality and proper placement for delivery
Receiving & Putaway
- Receive inbound shipments and resolve labeling issues
- Ensure smooth dock flow and direct putaway team as needed
- Place products in appropriate reserve or pick locations
- Break down or re-stack pallets if needed to fit company racking
General Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse work area
- Change equipment batteries when needed
- Follow all food safety and warehouse safety regulations
- Assist with audits and adhere to operational guidelines
- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisors
Who We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Able to lift up to 55 lbs repeatedly and work in cold/freezer environments
- Previous warehouse, logistics, or food-service distribution experience is a plus
- Forklift and electric pallet jack experience is an asset
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must pass a post-offer background check
Work Environment
This is a physically demanding role that may involve standing, lifting, and moving for extended periods. Work will occur in varied temperature environments, including freezers and coolers.
